Barcelona squad ‘turned on Ernesto Valverde’ after their Champions League crumble against Roma

BARCELONA players reportedly turned on boss Ernesto Valverde after their embarrassing Champions League exit.

The La Liga leaders had a commanding 4-1 lead going into the second-leg but incredibly went out on away goals after Roma won 3-0.

Valverde’s tactical decisions are said to have been criticised by some of the angry stars after they were bullied off the pitch by Roma.

Valverde is reported to have listened to the comments, but he did not give an immediate answer.

Valverde’s men take on Sevilla in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday and, if results go their way, they will also be crowned champions of Spain.

They have gone 40 games unbeaten in Spain and could become the first team in the country to go an entire season unbeaten.
